How easy is it, really?
The product interfaces with your existing processes and documents, requiring no new software, knowledge or skill sets. You can copy and paste, or just type in your camp information in order to publish your new site. Use a simple set of tools to meet your promotion, registration and management needs on the web.
Can we import our old information?
Yes, you can import all of the information from your previous web site, brochures or documents. You simply copy and paste your information into the site manager. If you have spreadsheets and contact lists send them to CampsLive to import at no cost.
What if I already have a web site?
You can create a CampsLive site for registration, management and store features and link to your old site for other information.
What if I already have a .COM?
You can redirect your .COM to your CampsLive site.
How much does it cost?
It’s free, yes free. Sign up for free, publish your site for free. If you choose the SIlver or Gold package, there is an annual fee of $120 or $195 and we will charge you a 3% fee of the each e-commerce transaction. No long term contracts, no sign-up fee, no termination fee, cancel at any time.
What’s the catch?
No catch. You can create a site for free and take registrations the old-fashioned way, which would leave us penniless, but online registrations and management tools will make your life easier.
What are the system requirements to use CampsLive?
CampsLive is hosted on our servers, there's nothing to install and no server to worry about. All you need is a modern web browser, computer (PC or Mac) and an Internet connection. The only skills required are following our simple directions and copying and pasting your information into your new web site.
Where do I go to sign up and how long will it take me?
CampsLive.com. Create an account in under 1 minute, Create a site in as little as 15 minutes. If you are interrupted you can always save your work and return to when you have time. Once you are happy with the color scheme, photos, logo and informatin start referring people to your new site!
Do I need a merchant account?
You need a PayPal account.
Do my registrars need a PayPal account?
They can use a credit card, check via the web or a PayPal account.
When Am I Charged 3%?
Monthly. 3% of each sale.
What if I want something completely custom?
We offer templates that were designed to meet your needs, however, if you want something completely unique, we can do that too. The cost for a custom design starts at $1,500.
Can I use it for more than one camp?
Once you have an account, you will be able to create as many camp web sites as you wish. They can all be managed from one administrative account.
Can more than one person log in to manage a camp?
Yes. You can grant permissions to camp assistants to log in to your account to view, edit or print your information.
What if I don’t have the time?
We offer custom set-up services... just send us your logo, camp information, and a brief description of your organization and we'll create your site!
What if I want something custom?
You are not required to use our templates to build your CampsLive site. If you want a completely custom design we can do it!
Is our data secure?
Security is our number one commitment. All information is held on a secure server with 128-bit encryption. Your information is backed up on multiple servers in different locations. This means that if anything was to happen to your personal computer or our database or at our facility or even at some combination of facilities, your information is secure and safe.
